We’re honored that one of the best rock radio stations in the country will be hosting a 27s week all week. If you’re in the New York Metro area be sure to tune in to 102.7 FM to listen to music by most of The 27s, as well as a chance to win signed copies of The 27s: The Greatest Myth of Rock & Roll.

After three years of creation we’re finally ready to unleash the greatest myth of rock & roll on the worl; The 27s pre-sale starts today, so be sure to snatch one up right here at the27s.com. (The 27s will not be available in bookstores until our official release April 5, 2009.)
We’re also very excited to offer the first t-shirt in our Wearable Art line. Only 144 King of Rock Bass shirts will be available; be sure to participate in our poll to decide which artist should be next in line.

Stones Planet, the premier Rolling Stones fanzine has graciously mentioned The 27s book in its current issue (#26). We’re of course crossing our fingers for a review in issue #27!

Josh talked to the printer today and we’re anticipating proofs for the cover to arrive tomorrow and the book’s 312 pages the following day.

Last week was pretty intense. We logged 18-hour work days to get everything ready for printing. Transcontinental in Canada received our files Tuesday and are in the process of creating a proof that we’ll hopefully receive either Thursday or Friday this week. Once we’ve checked it off the book goes to print!
After blogging on MySpace and Blogger over the past year or so, the latest 27s news will be posted right here from now on.
