Josh Hunter is the illustrator and co-creator of The 27s. From a young age, Josh began collecting comics and pop culture collectibles amassing a sincere love for heroes, myths and stories. From 1999-2005, Josh worked as a concert poster artist creating artworks for Bill Graham Presents, the Fillmore Theater, Widespread Panic and the Boulder FOX Theater. Today, he spends much of his time creating paintings, illustrations and outdoor murals. He is the owner and founder of Helicon Creative, an independent marketing and branding studio, advising and promoting clients such as: Tony Robbins, The UPS Store, YouTube celebrity ‘Hike the Gamer’, and many other global brands. Currently, Josh lives with his wife and border collie pup in San Diego, California where explorations to the beaches, mountains and desert are frequent.

Eric Segalstad is the author of The 27s book. While born and raised in Norway, Eric has spent more than half his life living across the U.S., from Seattle, to Montana, Colorado and most recently in Vermont where he resides with his wife and two dogs. Eric is a lifelong musician and operates Sabi Sound, a creative recording studio where he engineers and produces music. He is also involved in a couple of travel companies and often partners with Josh on strategic marketing projects. Meeting new people, traveling, creative thinking, history, writing, music, marketing, and business development pretty much sum up Eric’s passions and The 27s allow him to tap into and blend all of those into the same project.
